During my time in Brussels, I've gained skills regarding my ability to live independently in a new environment, as well as stronger communication/written skills. Living in Brussels taught me how to navigate the city via a variety of public transport methods - and I was so fortunate to make a group of European friends, who introduced me to different cultures and ways of thinking. Concerning my written skills, taking the EU in the World course with Dr. Kreppel and Dr. Selden was markedly different than the courses I take at UF, as I am a business student. Having the chance to write for exams was a nice change, and provided me with an opportunity to better my communicative skills. I truly love writing, so taking this class this summer was a joy.
